Cutesy & quaint Inn. Friendly staff & locals. Historic charm with modern amenities. Excellent new bathroom facilities. Spacious en-suite rooms. Good service and food. Relaxed atmosphere in Bathurst. Feels like stepping back in time.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

A charming stay with a touch of history. We loved the rustic pub-style accommodation, a refreshing change from the typical motels and B&Bs. The inn holds the oldest liquor license in South Africa, adding to its historical appeal. Bathurst is full of heritage site buildings and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was plentiful and delicious. we thoroughly enjoyed our time at this unique inn.

This place is an absolute gem! The location is ideal for a quick stopover, and the bar/restaurant adds to the lively atmosphere without disturbing the peace in the rooms. The food and service were mind-blowing, and the beds were super comfortable. The new bathroom facilities were jaw-dropping, seamlessly blending modern amenities with old-world charm. The staff was friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming and social atmosphere. Loved every moment!

We stayed at an old inn with nice exterior and good food. the room had an authentic feel, but it was too warm and dark. We shared clean bathrooms with other guests, which was not an issue. the staff was friendly and kind and even provided mosquito repellent. the porch outside was a great spot for breakfast.
The noise from the water pump was very disturbing and made it impossible to sleep peacefully.

Stayed here for thanksgiving and had a lovely time! the beds were super comfy and the bathroom clean. Towels were great and loved the traditional decor. Atmosphere in the pub was excellent, with friendly locals and good quality pub fare. Location is perfect for exploring the nearby town and attractions.
The duvet covers weren't as comfy and the lounge needed some dusting. the music in the pub was quite loud and kept us awake until the early hours of the morning.

I had an amazing time at this hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about places to visit in the city. The room was cozy and clean, and the restaurant served delicious food.
Didn't dislike anything about the property.

It was nice to stay in a historic hotel with a lot of character. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was peaceful and made for a good night's rest. The breakfast was delicious and there was a good variety to choose from. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
There were no menus available in the rooms, and we had to ask for one at the front desk. The pool was not easily accessible and we had to ask the staff how to get to it.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
